Now that we know that horseless carriages are the best cars for dog owners, I think it's time we turn the question on it's head. So, oppo, what are the best dogs for car owners? My vote is for anything that doesn't shed.
EDIT: Apparently my image was broken. Let's try again.

I win.
Edit.
I am an idiot. I thought you meant car for dog owner.
I didn´t win.

Dachshounds...they have just enough "stance" and like to go fast. This is Petey the Dachs-Hoon!

The answer to this was in all the papers this morning:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-lat…
A Chihuahua in Puerto Rico has been crowned the world's smallest dog by the Guinness Book of Records.
Miracle Milly is 9.6cm high (3.8 inches).
Should fit nicely in the glove compartment or door pocket.

Man, that thing is SLAMMED....
I like to imagine that dachshounds are pronounced dachs-hoon in German, just more angry sounding.

non-shedding has its downsides... my fiance's sister has as goldendoodle as they're hypo allergenic and do not shed. Correct, they don't shed... but in turn they usually smell due to their non-shedded hair.
my 50lb pitpull fits anywhere. she compacts easily! :D

my dog. (Golden retriever) Hear me out. He knows how to travel (doesn't do the normal dog stumbling drunkenly in the back) and just sits down. He leans into corners properly, and he watches the car/looks like a badass smiling in the front seat when he is in there for a few minutes alone, until I tell him to get in the back (it looks like he is going to just go for a drive by himself). Above all, he listens and doesn't get in my business while I am driving.

I wish I could recommend this more. Sweet dog.

Sounds like a great traveling companion.
Flint isn't that terrible.

He is pretty awesome. I would post a picture if I had any of him in the car. Maybe after work.
Flint though, it wears on you man. having to think twice before going out at night gets old. At least it did to me. I did like that you could ignore most laws though, that was fun. I'm just glad I'm out of there. I just haven't gotten around to thinking up another name.

yup, perfect height to look out the windows, and fur to blow in the wind. Is that yours? That's about the size of mine.

Yep, she'll be 1 next month. She was my Christmas present from my wife and kids last year.
